Tai Felton, a standout wide receiver for the Maryland Terrapins, has had an impressive college football career, highlighted by several milestones in his senior season (2024). Felton was named a 2024 Biletnikoff Semifinalist and earned PFF Midseason All-American honors. He is the program’s single-season record holder for catches, with 92 receptions through 11 games in 2024, and is one of only four Terps in history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in a season. Felton also became the first Terp to begin a season with four consecutive 100+ yard games and was named the DC Touchdown Club College Player of the Week in September. He has made the Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List and was selected to the 2024 Shrine Bowl 1000.

Felton’s remarkable 2024 season includes five 100-yard games, with a career-best 14 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown against Villanova. His performance also included a 178-yard, two-touchdown game against UConn, the most receiving yards by a Terp since DJ Moore in 2017. He set a new program record for single-season catches with his 93rd reception against Rutgers, surpassing D.J. Moore’s 80 catches from 2017. Additionally, Felton moved into second place in Maryland history for single-season receiving touchdowns, with nine, including two against Iowa. His consistent performance saw him finish among the national leaders in receptions (T-#2 FBS), receiving yards (#4 FBS), and receiving touchdowns (T-#11 FBS).

In his junior season (2023), Felton started all 13 games, leading the team with six receiving touchdowns and finishing second in both receptions (48) and receiving yards (723). He earned a career-high 140 receiving yards in a game against Rutgers and contributed a standout performance against Indiana, where he recorded three receiving touchdowns.

Felton's sophomore year (2022) featured 23 receptions for 309 yards and two touchdowns, including a career-high four receptions for 69 yards in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl win over NC State. Over the course of his career, Felton has been a consistent and explosive presence on the field, earning a reputation as one of the top wide receivers in the Big Ten.
